asert - TAROE and Mears Joint Partnership - Job Vacancies

We have great pleasure in writing to you regarding the enclosed adverts for vacancies in our new venture which is called asert.

asert is a joint venture partnership between TAROE and Mears Plc which has been set up to employ tenants to talk to tenants regarding the services they receive from, in the first instance, Mears (please visit here).

The idea is not to add a new financial burden to any landlord expense in procuring contracts. Mears will pay asert to scrutinise its service delivery on contracts which have a direct effect on tenants. The asert staff will speak with tenants identifying issues of concern or compliments, directly informing the contractor of the issues so that changes in delivery can be immediately instigated.

This initiative places tenants at the heart of service delivery and really empowers them with regard to how people work in their homes.

Tenants applying for these vacancies will have the necessary training and support which will allow them to take this exciting new venture forward, expanding it beyond the Mears Plc world to the wider contractor delivery of services.

Part time Customer Service Champions - £7280 per annum based on 20 hours per week, Hourly rate £7.00 per hour

We are keen to recruit a Customer Service Champions (Customer Survey) to externally validate the levels of tenant /customer satisfaction carried out by housing contractors and service providers.

These posts are ideal for tenants/residents who are interested in helping to improve the service received from local contractors. These positions would involve working closely with the local building contractors and service providers and contacting other people who have had their work carried out by them.

We are currently recruiting nationwide as the roles may be carried out either in the tenants local area or remotely (home based) The role may involve some travel to meetings, attend training or to visit other tenants.

Customer Service Data Analyst – Maternity Cover (18month Fixed Term Contract)

Salary:  Circa £18,000 per annum. 

We are keen to recruit a Customer Service Data Analyst to be based at the Welwyn Hatfield office of MEARS.  The postholder will assist in the collection, collation and analysis of customer service data and support a small team of analysts with the aim of ensuring feedback from tenants, residents and other customers is utilised to aid continuous service improvement.

This post is ideal for experienced and IT literate local tenants/residents who are interested in helping to improve the service received from the local contractor in the Welwyn Hatfield area.  This position will suit a well organised individual with excellent communication skills who is committed to customer care.  The position will involve working closely with local building contractors and service providers.  Click below to download more information
