I have worked within the housing sector for the past 9 years, and for TAROE since February 2009. I am a strong supporter of tenants' rights, and work tirelessly to raise awareness of tenant issues and to influence housing policy for the benefit of tenants.

Prior to joining TAROE I worked as the Corporate Service Director of a regionally based housing association.

I have experience of having worked for local, regional and national based housing associations, providing both general and specialist housing services.

In addition to tenant empowerment, I have a particular interest in policy development, corporate governance, service improvement, risk and change management processes.

In my spare time I am a keen cyclist and mountain biker!

Katie McMahon Office Manager

Hi. My name is Katie McMahon. I joined TAROE as the Office Manager in May 2007. Previous to this, I had worked in the voluntary and community sector for about 10 years.

I had worked for a Credit Union and also for a volunteer bureau among others.

I find working within the third sector very rewarding and especially working at TAROE, where this tenant led organisation is currently thriving and having input into major decisions which will affect each and every tenant.

Doris Chimes, Business Support Officer

Hello, I'm Doris and I have been working at TAROE since December 2008. This is the first time that I have worked for a voluntary organisation and I enjoy how my work has such a positive impact on ensuring the rights of tenants are promoted and met. As a tenant myself, I understand what an important role TAROE is able to fulfil.

Prior to joining TAROE I have worked within the NHS fulfilling a range of administration based roles.
