Member Services
All members benefit from the receipt of regular newsletters, information packs, advice on setting up and maintaining representative bodies, plus general guidance on tenant related matters.
Membership also ensures that you can benefit from the collective voice of being part of the national tenant representative body with an ability to influence national housing policy.
Consultancy
TAROE is able to provide a broad range of consultancy services that benefit housing providers and their tenants. These can be provided either in-house or through TAROE’s network of associates.
Areas of work include advice on governance structures, empowering tenants in decision making processes, establishing tenant representative bodies at a local and regional level, and development of participation strategies. Training
TAROE is able to provide a broad range of training services, available to tenant groups as well as housing provider staff and Boards of Management.
TAROE has a key focus on training related to tenant participation and empowerment, but is also able to deliver training on a variety of housing issues such as governance, regulation, and service delivery.
Mediation
TAROE has been establishing an enviable track record in the delivery of mediation services to resolve issues and disputes between landlords and tenants. If you are a tenant body or a landlord, please contact TAROE to assist you with mediation.
Advocacy
As the national tenant representative body, we have developed a wealth of experience of the regulated housing sector. We are able to provide support, assistance and advocacy services to our members to assist them in resolving a range of issues, e.g. complaint resolution; landlord disputes; Ombudsman issues.
